Journey Through the Ages
From her station at the Temporal Conflux, Chromie of the Bronze Dragonflight made a shocking discovery: an evil force was tampering with time. The corrupted Murozond, Lord of the Infinite, was twisting all timelines toward a single apocalyptic fate. Chromie knew she couldn’t stop him alone, so she raced through time, recruiting fabled Warcraft heroes from every era and assembling the ultimate team Across the Timeways!
Expansion Features
Wield the power of Warcraft icons from past, future, and alternate timelines! Fabled Legendary cards arrive with extra cards that automatically slot into your deck. Each class gets a Fabled hero, like Sylvanas or Gelbin, pulled from timelines both known and never seen before.
Time travel comes to Hearthstone! Rewind lets you replay cards with random effects to try for a better outcome. Whether it’s a spell gone sideways or a minion that missed its mark, Rewind gives you the chance to rewrite history. Keep the result or Rewind the timeline? The power to change fate is in your hands!
Rewind and Fabled aren't the only ways to manipulate time. Timeway Warden imprisons a minion for 10,000 turns, while Divergence splits one into two alternate versions.
Timelord Nozdormu returns to remind us that no fate is inevitable. Soldier of the Bronze and Soldier of the Infinite mirror each other in more ways than one, representing the clash of timelines at the heart of this expansion.
FAQ
When will Across the Timeways release?
November 4, 2025.
What are the Timeways?
The Timeways are magical corridors that connect different timelines in the Warcraft universe. They’re guarded by the Bronze Dragonflight, including Chromie, who takes the form of a cheerful gnome, and Nozdormu, their leader and the Aspect of Time. In Hearthstone’s Across the Timeways expansion, these corridors are under threat from Murozond, Lord of the Infinite. In an attempt to stop him, Chromie raced through the Timeways to recruit legendary heroes from past, future, and alternate realities.
Warcraft fans know that Nozdormu and Murozond are actually the same dragon. After glimpsing his own death, Nozdormu becomes obsessed with avoiding it. In the future, that obsession eventually corrupts him into Murozond, who creates the Infinite Dragonflight. His twisted goal is to manipulate all timelines so every reality leads to the End Time, a barren wasteland devoid of life. Can Chromie’s team of fabled Warcraft champions stop this apocalyptic scheme? We'll soon find out as this chrono-crisis plays out Across the Timeways!
What are the Across the Timeways promotional cards?
There are four free cards leading up to the launch of Across the Timeways! Mister Clocksworth is the free Legendary card available now just for logging in. Semi-Stable Portal is a Common card also available to claim for free in the in-game Shop right now. Two more cards, Portal Vanguard and a Signature Robocaller, will be available for free as a reward for an in-game event in this patch. See the 33.6 Patch Notes for details.
How will Catch-Up Packs work in Across the Timeways?
There will be new Catch-Up Packs with Across the Timeways. As always, those Catch-Up Packs will catch you up to the expansion by featuring the past sets that will still be in Standard when Across the Timeways launches: Whizbang’s Workshop, Perils in Paradise, The Great Dark Beyond, Into the Emerald Dream, and The Lost City of Un’Goro. These Catch-Up Packs will include 5-50 cards per pack, with 1-13 cards per set per pack. Previous Catch-Up Pack logic will remain unchanged no matter when you open them. In-game Catch-Up Pack grants will swap over to the new Catch-Up Packs with Patch 34.0. You can tell which Catch-Up Pack you are opening by looking at the set symbols on the pack. See the Disclosure Page for more details.
What’s the best Across the Timeways pre-purchase bundle?
We’re offering three pre-purchase bundles this expansion: our usual Pre-Purchase Bundle and Mega Bundle options, plus the Sequence Bundle (unlocked after getting the other two pre-purchase bundles). The Sequence Bundle offers the best value for players who want the most packs possible at launch. For players who plan to choose just one Pre-Purchase bundle, the Mega Bundle is the better value option for the Hearthstone Mode.
When can I open my pre-purchased packs?
Pre-purchase packs (as well as any other Across the Timeways Packs accumulated at that time) will initially be able to be opened during the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl, from October 28 to November 4. Outside of that, Across the Timeways packs will be able to be opened when the expansion launches on November 4.
What is the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl?
The Pre-Release Tavern Brawl will return for Across the Timeways, running from the launch of Patch 34.0 on October 28 until the launch of the expansion on November 4. In the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl, you will be able to open your Across the Timeways packs, build decks, and play with them in a mini-competition. Prizing will match the prizing structure from last Pre-Release Tavern Brawl based on how well you do, but will award cards and packs from Across the Timeways, so you can take your winnings and go again! Everyone will get one free entry; each subsequent entry will cost 2 Tavern Tickets, 300 Gold, or 400 Runestones.
