Get Amped Up!
E.T.C. is putting on the biggest music festival that Azeroth has ever seen, and you’re all invited! From metalheads to pop stars, every class is pulling out all the stops. When they nail the grand Finale, it’ll be music to your ears.
Gather your instruments and warm up your voice, it’s nearly time for the Festival of Legends!
Expansion Features
Cards with the new Finale keyword get special bonuses if playing them uses all your remaining mana. Plan out your turns ahead of time so you can finish strong with your grand Finale!
The new Overheal keyword will be an evergreen part of Priest’s identity, starting with Festival of Legends and this year’s Core set. Minions with Overheal trigger a special effect when they are healed above their max Health. How allegro!
Each class is getting a Legendary minion card that’s their class’s star musician, plus a Legendary spell card that represents that musician’s most famous song. Play your favorite tune to shoot up the charts!
Each class is getting a finely tuned instrument of destruction—as well as music. Some of these weapons have Deathrattle effects that improve while in play. Power them up before your last swing so you can really strike a chord!
Harmonic spells have two modes. The numbers on them swap between Harmonic and Dissonant frequencies each turn they’re in your hand. Follow the rhythm to maximize their impact!
Some minions perform better in the spotlight. Soloists are minions that have special Battlecry effects if you control no other minions. Clear the stage and let them shine!
FAQ
When does Festival of Legends launch?
Festival of Legends launches worldwide this April.
What’s the best Pre-Purchase bundle?
We offer two Pre-Purchase bundles so that players can purchase either or both, whatever works best for them. For players who plan to choose just one, The Mega-Bundle (Pre-Purchase) is the best value option for the Hearthstone Mode.
When can I open my Pre-Purchase packs?
Pre-Purchase packs can be opened during pre-release weekend or after the expansion launches in April.
How do I participate in pre-release weekend?
Anybody can participate in pre-release weekend by setting up a private Fireside Gathering during the designated pre-release weekend (usually the weekend before the expansion launch). At that private Fireside Gathering, you will be able to participate in special pre-release weekend Tavern Brawls. If you have purchased any of the pre-purchase bundles, you will also be able to open those pre-purchase packs early at the pre-release weekend. You can set up your pre-release weekend event at FiresideGatherings.com. Check back soon for our pre-release weekend blog for dates and more information!
What are Signature Cards?
“Signature” is a card quality some cards can have, like Golden or Diamond. Signature cards have a vibrant new look in Festival of Legends, as well as animations and a new layout that celebrates the special alternate art. Signature cards can’t be crafted. Festival of Legends Signature cards can only be opened in Festival of Legends Packs and Festival of Legends Golden Packs, or awarded through special means. Starting with Patch 26.0, Signature cards will be able to be disenchanted for the same value as if they were Golden.
What is Duplicate Protection?
Duplicate Protection means that when you open packs or get random rewards from a particular set, you’ll get cards of that rarity that you haven’t already received from that set before you receive additional copies of cards of that rarity beyond what you can play in your deck. For instance, if you already received a Legendary card from a set, you won’t open that same Legendary card from a pack until after you have all the other Legendary cards from that set.
How do card re-rolls work?
From time to time, certain specific cards are awarded to players that are not able to be disenchanted. For instance, from now until Patch 26.6, you can login to get a free copy of E.T.C., Band Manager! This also applies to cards on the Rewards Track and certain other special rewards.
For those types of cards, a pop-up automatically appears when you have the free version that can’t be disenchanted and a duplicate that can be disenchanted. That pop-up will allow you to re-roll the disenchantable duplicate version into another card of the same rarity and quality from that same set.
