If you played with the Dream City Trial Cards, we hope you had a blast trying out new decks and discovering your favorite strategies. With the launch of Escape from Violet Hold on July 7, the Dream City Trial Card period has come to an end.
But don't worry. There are plenty of ways to grow your collection and keep playing your favorite decks. Here's how to get started.
Jumpstart Your Collection with Catch-Up Packs
Catch-Up Packs are one of the fastest ways to grow your collection and jump back into the action. A single Catch-Up Pack can contain up to 50 cards*, with the amount based on how many cards you already own. These packs are designed to help you fill in the gaps so you can stay competitive with less effort.

Where to Get Free Catch-Up Packs
- Catch-Up Pack #1: Simply log in to claim this free Catch-Up Pack! Available from the launch of Escape from Violet Hold through Patch 36.4.
- Catch-Up Pack #2: Participate in the Violet Hold in-game event from July 7–28. Complete event missions and track your progress to earn a Catch-Up Pack, along with other rewards including free packs and cosmetics.

Tune In: Escaping the Violet Hold with Solary!
Join Team Solary and some of your favorite content creators as they take on Escape from the Violet Hold! Eight players will split into teams and build decks on brand-new accounts using only Catch-Up Packs.
Hosted in France and cast by DaneHearth and Hearthstone Esports' own Darroch Brown, this event will showcase fresh decks and new strategies.
Watch all the action LIVE on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel on July 16 and 17, starting at 6:00 a.m. PDT each day. Twitch Drops will be enabled, and viewers can earn 1 Escape from Violet Hold pack each day just for watching.
