Hearthside Chat with Peter Whalen: Welcome to Boom Labs

Join Hearthstone Designer Peter Whalen as he delivers a thrilling lecture on the marvelously strange SCIENCE—and the brilliant minds behind it—that you’ll encounter in The Boomsday Project, Hearthstone’s newest expansion!

Weird Scientists

Dr. Boom’s secret research facility, Boom Labs, is a labyrinthine complex amid the shattered floating continent of Netherstorm. You’ll find intriguing inventions, esoteric equipment, and strange contraptions down every corridor. In its wondrous—and perilous—laboratories, you’ll encounter the finest minds in cutting-edge SCIENCE! You’ll meet the wonderfully weird head scientists—meteorologists, astronomers, biologists, soulologists, and more—who practice it!

Each of these Legendary scientists embodies a specific discipline, and packs considerable powers accordingly! You’ll get to put their prodigious intellects to work in your decks when The Boomsday Project begins on August 7, but in the meantime, watch the video to find out more about what goes on in Boom Labs!
